Description
This article describes the steps on how to configure the Grandstream GWN7052/7062 router for Maxis Home Fibre Internet. Maxis Home Fibre delivers its fibre connections with PPPoE with a VLAN tag.
Steps
- Connect your PC to the GWN router via LAN port or WiFi, and navigate your browser to 192.168.80.1 (GWN70XX router’s default IP). Enter the administrator username and password. Refer to the GWN70x2 administrator guide here.
2. Navigate to the Network Settings > WAN on the home screen, and select Connection Type: Internet Access with PPPoE account. Enter the required fields: PPPoE Account, PPPoE Password, Maximum Transmission Unit, VLAN Tag & ID. The VLAN Tage ID may vary based on your account, please refer to Maxis router settings or the Maxis support team.
3. Verify the internet connection on the Overview page.
