What does the UCM Remote Connect session mean?

The UCM Remote Connect Datasheet states that the Remote Connect Beta plan supports up to 36 concurrent sessions.

A Remote Connect session is referred to as:

  1. calls from an endpoint or trunk registered via the Remote Connect address. Each call between the trunks is counted as a session.
  2. In a peer trunk setting where both UCMs have their own RemoteConnect plans, a single call between them is counted as 1 session towards both UCMs’ plan limits.
  3. When two extensions are registered via UCMRC address and make an internal call, the call is counted as 2 sessions.
  4. Registrations do not count as sessions. A peer connection does not count towards the session limit.
