This article describes the steps to locate the Maxis Home Fibre Internet Router Administrator’s Password. When the users sign up for the Maxis Home Fibre Internet package, a GPON ONU (aka modem) and Wifi 6 router will be provided and installed on the residential premises.

Here are the steps on how to log into the router with the default username and password:

Step 1: Open your web browser.
Step 2: Enter “192.168.1.254” in the URL bar of the browser
Step 3: Input “administrator” under ‘Username’, and the Router’s Serial Number under ‘Password’ to log in.

Maxis Home Fibre PPPoe Username and Password
Figure 3 shows Maxis Home Fibre PPPoE Username and Password. The PPPoE default password prepends a ‘1’ behind the username. For eg. if the PPP Username is A312345, then the PPP Password is A3123451. You can also click on the password field to unhide it. The PPP usernames and passwords are important when the users plan to change to another 3rd party router model in the future.
