Ring Simultaneously on Grandstream IP PBX UCM & Panasonic Analog PBX’s Extensions

Description

This article describes the steps to configure Ring Simultaneously on the same extension range of Grandstream IP PBX UCM63XX and Analog PBX.

Scenario

I have an extension range (200-300) in Panasonic Analog PBX and Grandstream PBX UCM6301. They connect with a PRI Gateway GXW4501 through a SIP Peer Trunk and E1 cable. When someone dials UCM6301’s extension, how do I configure it to ring Wave Applications and Panasonic’s extensions? (eg. an inbound call rings UCM6301’s ext. 202 and Panasonic’s ext. 202)

How to

a. Navigate to UCM’s Outbound Router and create an Outbound Route with :
Pattern: _9xxx
– Trunk: Peer trunk with PRI gateway
Strip: 1
– Save and Apply

b. Go to UCM > Extensions > ext. 202 > Features > Ring Simultaneously: external number: 9203

c. When someone calls ext. 202 of UCM, it also rings Panasonic PBX’s ext. 202

Figure 1 shows the call flow of inbound call landing ext. 202 of UCM, it also rings Panasonic PBX’s ext. 202.
